I've always fancied European-engineered cars, like Ferraris or a solid BMW. They are eye catching and even if you don't know much about cars, it's easy to tell that they are luxurious. I can really appreciate the quality of a handcrafted vehicle.
How does it feel to have a following online?
I don't have millions of followers, but being able to have people to communicate instantly with who are interested in my work is indescribable. There is no word in the dictionary that has the right description for it but it's pretty close to humbling and cool. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be able to have accomplished so much this year.
Nicknames:
I used to have a few nicknames while growing up and in high school, but as of recently, the new thing is abusing my last name [Riel] in everyday context.
First kiss:
It must have not been that pleasant since I cannot recall.
Hidden talents:
I took piano as a little girl because I saw how happy it made my father, but my teacher was really mean to my brother and I. One day I locked myself in the washroom, crying until my dad agreed to let me quit. It helped me develop a really good ear for sounding out notes for when I took up piano again in high school. Sad to say I never kept up practicing, and a day doesn't go by that I don't wish I had invested more time playing but for now I am able to know how satisfying it feels to play a mean classical piece. It helps me appreciate my dad's love for musical instruments. So this is more of a hidden talent story.
Worst date:
Someone once tried to rush me out of the restaurant to skip out on the bill. I paid the bill while he was at the front of the restaurant, and he still had the nerve to ask me to drive him to his car parked a couple streets down.
Favorite food:
If you have ever watched my Youtube video blogs, you'd know this question is too limiting for an answer. I get weak in the knees for a talented chef and a satisfying meal.

Favorite TV show(s):
Game of Thrones. Where are my dragons?!
Any celebrity crushes?
Nope!
Most guilty pleasure.
Eating at really late hours. It makes working out that much harder.
Childhood:
I wasn't really a troublemaker but, of course, everyone has that little mischievous behavior in them as a kid. But that didn't automatically make me a geek.
Tattoos and/or piercings?
I am the year of the dragon in the Chinese zodiac, so I wanted to tattoo my whole back with a dragon wrapped around my Chinese name. Unfortunately, doing that is very common. It also limits you for professional model work, and I dream of one day walking up the aisle in a sexy backless dress. But I do enjoy looking at body art on other people.
Would you ever do a nude shoot?
No. But I didn't say never.
The best pickup line that worked on you was?
Pickup lines don't work on me. It's all about the effort in making me feel special and secure, like all guys should make their lady feel.
Weirdest phobia:
Being left alone at night, because watching scary movies really puts messed-up thoughts into the mind of a strong thinker, like myself, who just happens to be a very light sleeper.
My favorite body part on myself is:
My hands. Not for their appearance, but because I would be so inefficient without them!
My least favorite body part on myself is:
My knees. They're my weakest link and become sore easily.

Old-school rap/hip-hop, rock, slow jams, '80s, and '90s.

What is next for Dannie Riel?
Being my own manager has been setting me back on a few projects I have been wanting to do for a while now, but I just recently teamed up with a few talented individuals to help in completing my website (www.dannieriel.com) that will have our D.Riel apparel and merchandise, along with a lot of exclusive and fun interactive content. Success can happen to people overnight if they're lucky. But, like us normal people, it takes a lot of hard work and I couldn't imagine doing anything else right now. I'm always interested in exploring new projects and collaborations and always keeping busy.

The Riel Deal.
